ERP is the only pan-European scheme delivering batteries compliance across the EU, having recycled over 1,000 tonnes of portable batteries from operations in Austria, Denmark, FInland, Ireland and Spain.

In the UK, ERP was approved by the Environment Agency as a battery compliance scheme (BCS2010755/E) on 30 September 2009. We continue to develop our battery collection network to ensure the UK collects and recycles 25% of the batteries sold by 2012.
